- Open iTunes on your computer and connect your iPhone. Sync the device with your iTunes account.
- Please download the Setup File or the ZIP File of the latest application.
- Run the setup and install the application. Use default settings for installation steps.
(Note: If you see compatibility issues, make sure you have installed the latest .Net Framework on your computer. Please Click Here to download and install the .Net Framework setup from Microsoft site.)
Also, if you receive a security prompt preventing you from running the installer, right click on the installer and select properties and then select the unblock security check box.
- Once the MobileGuard application is installed and started, you will see a Blue Shield Icon in the task bar of your computer. (This generally is in the lower right of your computer screen near the date/time).
- Click on Blue Shield Icon to open the application, if it does not open automatically.
- On the MobileGuard application screen, you will see at least one device in the left panel under Pending.
- Select the device you want to monitor and click on the Register Device button on right.
- Register your device by filling out your Company Domain Email Address and your Name which are required. After completion, click Register.
- Congratulations, you have completed the download, installation and activation process for TextGuard’s iPhone application.
- Login to the Administrative console to view the messages.

- Open the MobileGuard application, go to the File menu and choose ‘Use Proxy’.
- Check the box ‘Use Proxy’ to enable Settings.
- Enter appropriate values for Address, Port, User and Password.
- Save the Settings.
