Installation

Start. From your Android mobile device, go to the email you received regarding the MessageGuard application.

1. Tap on the MessageGuard.apk download link you received via email or copied into your device web browser. This will start the download process.
2. Tap Download Mobile Application.
3. Go to the Settings Section of your device. Tap Security.
4. In Security settings, check Unknown Sources box. (On some Android devices, you will find the Unknown Sources box under Application settings, please check box).
5. Next, go to the Download folder of your device. (For most Android devices this is located under Applications.)
6. Tap the MessageGuard.apk file to begin application installation.
   
   (Note: If your device has more than one Application Launcher, you MAY see a prompt. Please check the “Use by default for this action” box. Tap your preferred Application Installer for your mobile device. “Package Installer” is the recommended installer and standard for Android devices. If “Package Installer” has previously been set as your default on your mobile device, you can proceed to Step 6.)
   
   
7. Tap Install.
8. When installation is complete, you will see the finish screen. Tap Open.
9. Next, Register your device by filling out your Company Domain Email Address and your Name which are required. After completion, Tap Register.
10. You will be prompted to install the Monitor application. Tap Install to start installation process.
11. When Monitor installation is complete, Tap Done.
12. You have finished downloading MessageGuard and registering your mobile device.
13. Congratulations, you have completed the download and registration process for MobileGuard’s Android application.
